Imipramine hydrochloride
Imipramine HCl is a tricyclic antidepressant that potently inhibits serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake. It is also reported to suppress extracellular vesicle release by inhibiting acid sphingomyelinase translocation, making it a useful research tool for studying neurotransmission and vesicular trafficking in cellular and animal models.
