IKIX1 is a small molecule activator of the Pdr1 transcription factor. It restores azole susceptibility in resistant Candida glabrata, demonstrated in both in vitro assays and in vivo models of disseminated and urinary tract infections, supporting research into antifungal resistance mechanisms.
