Simufilam dihydrochloride is an orally bioavailable small molecule that selectively binds to misfolded filamin A (FLNA) in Alzheimer's disease research. It restores FLNA's normal function, which has been shown in experimental models to improve synaptic signaling and reduce neuroinflammation by disrupting pathological protein interactions.
