A potent tricyclic furocoumarin suicide that used to treat psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo and some cutaneous lymphomas in conjunction with exposing the skin to sunlight; inhibits human CYP2A6 and mouse CYP2A5, inhibits nicotine metabolism and alters the behavioral effects of nicotine in the mouse; also induces Ca2+ entry in MG63 human osteosarcoma cells.Blood Cancer Approved.
