Promazine (hydrochloride) is a D2 dopamine receptor antagonist, belongs to the phenothiazine class of antipsychotics, used to treat schizophrenia. (In Vitro) :Promazine hydrochloride shows KDs of 25, 190 and 8400 nM at the human norepinephrine transporter, serotonin transporter, and dopamine transporter, respectively.
