Sulfaphenazole
Sulfaphenazole is a potent and selective CYP2C9 inhibitor (Ki: 0.3 μM) with over 100-fold selectivity against other major CYPs. It is used in vitro and in vivo to study CYP2C9's role in drug metabolism and has been applied in vascular research to investigate endothelial CYP-mediated oxidative signaling and vascular tone regulation.
