PCPA methyl ester hydrochloride
PCPA methyl ester hydrochloride is a brain-penetrant inhibitor of tryptophan hydroxylase, the rate-limiting enzyme in serotonin biosynthesis. It is widely used in neuroscience research to deplete central 5-HT levels for studying serotonergic function in both in vivo animal models and in vitro cellular systems.
