Carbidopa
Carbidopa is an aromatic-L-amino-acid decarboxylase inhibitor with an IC50 of 29±2 μM. It is primarily used in Parkinson's disease research to mitigate the peripheral side effects of levodopa, enhancing its central nervous system bioavailability in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
