Eltrombopag Olamine is an orally bioavailable, small-molecule agonist of the thrombopoietin receptor (TPO-R/CD110) . Its binding stimulates megakaryocyte proliferation and differentiation, thereby increasing platelet production. This compound is widely used in research for studying thrombopoiesis in models of immune thrombocytopenia and chemotherapy-induced myelosuppression.
