LYN-1604 is a novel small molecule activator of ULK1. It induces cell death through mechanisms involving ATF3, RAD21, and caspase-3, concomitant with autophagy and apoptosis. This compound is a useful research tool for studying autophagy, cell death pathways, and oncology in both cellular and animal models.
