Specificity
This product recognises both molecular forms of glutamate decarboxylase, GAD1 (GAD67) and GAD2 (GAD65), the enzyme which converts glutamic acid to gamma -aminobutyric acid (GABA), the major inhibitory transmitter in the higher brain region.
