Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Mouse anti canine distemper virus antibody, clone DV2-12 recognizes canine distemper virusnucleoprotein. In western blots the antibody recognises bands of ~76 kDa, 68 kDa, 54 kDa and 32kDa under reducing conditions.<br><br>Mouse anti canine distemper virus antibody, clone DV2-12 is useful for the detection of CDV inimmunofluorescence procedures, in which the staining seen has a cytoplasmic pattern in infectedcells. It is also effective in paraffin embedded material.<br><br>Mouse anti canine distemper virus antibody, clone DV2-12 is anti morbillivirus specific and reactswith phocine distemper virus, racoon distemper virus and human measles virus. It does not crossreact with CAV2, CCV, CPI or CPV.
