Storage Conditions
This antibody is stable for at least one (1) year at -20 °C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity
DC-SIGN (ED) [This rabbit antibody recognizes aa 277-203 of human DC-SIGN.]<br>This antibody recognizes human DCSIGN, a dendritic cell receptor that can capture and transport HIV from mucosal areas to remote lymph nodes where HIV is then transferred to CD4+ T lymphocytes. Multiple strains of HIV-1, HIV-2, and SIV bind to dendritic cells via DC-SIGN. DC-SIGN is expressed in mucosal tissues, placenta, small intestine, and rectum.
