Bromperidol
Bromperidol is a butyrophenone derivative and it is a potent and long-acting neuroleptic. Which is used as an antipsychotic in the treatment of schizophrenia. (In Vivo) :Bromperidol antagonises stereotyped behaviour and agitation induced by apomorphine or amphetamine, and inhibits conditioned reactions and learned intracranial self-stimulation in rats.Bromperidol antagonises apomorphine-induced emesis and inhibits the conditioned avoidance response in dogs.
