(K (C10) GGGRrRPC) 2 (Compound (C-C10) C-C) is a dimeric lipopeptide and antibacterial agent. It promotes reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and inhibits bacterial respiratory chain dehydrogenase activity. The compound effectively prevents bacterial biofilm formation and exhibits antibacterial activity against Acinetobacter baumannii AB1901 and AB1902, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 25349, and Staphylococcus aureus 11011, with MICs of 4 μM, 8 μM, 4 μM, and 8 μM, respectively. Additionally, (K (C10) GGGRrRPC) 2 shows antibacterial effects against Escherichia coli ATCC 25922.
