Octadecaneuropeptide

Octadecaneuropeptide is a peptide composed of 18 amino acid residues. Derivable from a Diazepam binding inhibitor, it includes a ligand that specifically binds to a regulatory site on the γ-aminobutyric acid receptor (commonly occupied by β-carbolines) . Octadecaneuropeptide can dose-dependently enhance the suppression of drinking behavior induced by punishment.
