DD-S067

DD-S067 is an antibacterial peptide that employs various mechanisms of action, such as disrupting the inner and outer membranes of bacteria, inducing the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), and triggering lipid peroxidation. Additionally, DD-S067 inhibits the electron transport chain. It exhibits potent antibacterial activity, with a GM value of 4.1 μM against 27 strains of multidrug-resistant bacteria. Moreover, DD-S067 demonstrates significant protective effects in a mouse model of CRAB-induced septic shock.
