Bac8c is an antimicrobial peptide with strong antibacterial activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. The MIC of Bac8c against S. aureus, MRSA, S. epidermidis, E. coli, and P. aeruginosa are 2, 8, 4, 4, and 4 μg/mL, respectively[1].
