YIGSR-Lys (N3)
YIGSR-Lys (N3) is a peptide that inhibits the tumor growth and metastasis of leukemia cells. This compound interferes with the interaction between cells and laminin I by blocking a 67 kDa laminin-binding protein, thereby reducing shear-induced eNOS expression in laminin cells. As a click chemistry reagent, YIGSR-Lys (N3) contains an azide group that undergoes copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with alkynyl-containing molecules. Additionally, it can engage in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules bearing DBCO or BCN groups.
