Goat polyclonal antibody to GLP1R, which belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 2 family. GLP-1R expression primarily localizes to areas of the hypothalamus involved in feeding behavior. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activates adenylyl cyclase. GLP-1 functions as a transmitter in the central nervous system, inhibiting feeding and drinking behavior.
