Phosphate Buffer, 10X

Preparation: Dilute this 10X buffer 10 times (e.g. 90 ml of deionized or distilled water + 10 ml of this buffer), mix Well, and store 1 X buffer solution at room temperature or 2-8oC for several weeks. Application: Wash membrane or ELISA plates for 10 minutes each for three times.. For 10x10 cm membrane use at least 50 ml buffer with shaking gently. This buffer is used in between steps in immunoassays protocol. For diluting blocking solution, primary antibody or HRP-secondary antibody, please refer to WB or ELISA protocol.

This buffer is supplied as 10X solution. It is used as 1X in all western blotting, ELISA and Chemiluminescence assays as a washing buffer, making blocking solution, diluting HRP-secondary and primary antibody etc. This buffer does not contain any sodium azide or mercury preservative and can be used for dilution of all antibodies, including peroxidase. This buffer does not contain any proteins.
