Assay Protocol

Chickens were immunized with purified, non-denatured mouse IgG (containing both heavy and light chains) . Eggs were collected from hyperimmunized hens and the IgY fraction purified from the yolks. Anti-mouse IgG’s were affinity-purified over a column conjugated with purified mouse IgG (containing both heavy and light chains) and then conjugated with fluorescein isothiocyanate.

12 months from receipt of product

Specificity

H&L; there is no detectable cross-reactivity with rabbit, goat or human IgG.

Pre Treatment

Chickens were immunized with purified, non-denatured mouse IgG (containing both heavy and light chains).

Quality Control

Antibodies were tested for specificity using double-immunodiffusion in agarose and for non-specific binding using cryostat sections of unfixed embryonic chick tissues.
