Nv-CATH is an antibacterial peptide of frog origin. Nv-CATH has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Nv-CATH significantly protects mice from fatal infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus. Nv-CATH protects mice from bacterial infection through antimicrobial immunoregulatory duality[1].
