Background

Mucoprotein 2 (MUC2) is a protein with a molecular weight of 520 kDa. In normal tissues, mucoprotein 2 is mainly expressed in the epithelium of small intestine, salivary gland and mammary gland, but not in other parts. It is mainly used in the study of colon cancer and gastric cancer.
