Anti-RFP | Red Fluorescent Protein (mouse monoclonal)
Product Specifications
Background
Red fluorescent protein (RFP)was originally isolated fromDiscosoma sp., a sea anemone. It is a naturally fluorescent protein which emits red light at a maximum wavelength of 583 nm in response to a specific light wavelength, maximized at 558 nm. It is used in laboratory as a reporter molecule to label and to study protein-protein interactions and protein localization.
