IP3RPEP6 is a selective, competitive IP3 receptor inhibitor with IC50 values of 9.0 μM (IP3R1), 3.9 μM (IP3R2), and 4.3 μM (IP3R3) . It is used in vitro and in vivo to study calcium signaling mechanisms in processes like apoptosis, autophagy, and cellular differentiation without affecting ryanodine receptors or Cx43 hemichannels.
