RJPXD33 is a dual inhibitor of the lipid A biosynthesis enzymes LpxA and LpxD, exhibiting IC50 values of 19 μM and 3.5 μM, respectively. It binds to these targets in E. coli with Kd values of 20 μM and 6 μM, serving as a useful research tool for studying Gram-negative bacterial envelope biogenesis and antibiotic discovery in vitro.
