KRL74 is a cyclic peptide inhibitor that disrupts the HIV-1 Gag p6/TSG101 UEV interaction (Kd 11.9 μM), inhibiting viral budding with an IC50 of 2 μM in VLP assays. It serves as a valuable research tool for studying the late stages of HIV-1 replication in vitro.
