It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized TNFR in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Receptor for TNFSF2/TNF-alpha and homotrimeric TNFSF1/lymphotoxin-alpha. The adapter molecule FADD recruits caspase-8 to the activated receptor. The resulting death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation which initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases (aspartate- specific cysteine proteases) mediating apoptosis (By similarity) .

Lyophilized TNFR although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution TNFR should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) . Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
