Expressed in goblet cells of the intestines, and colon, in paraventricular hypothalamus and supraoptic nuclei. Weakly expressed in gastric epithelial cells (at protein level) . Expressed by goblet cells of small and large intestinal epithelia, kidney and stomach. Expressed in the paraventricular hypothalamus, arcuate nucleus and amygdala of the brain. Weakly expressed in gastric epithelial cells.

We recommend using deionized water to prepare about 0.5mg/ml working stock solution and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.

Involved in the maintenance and repair of the intestinal mucosa. Promotes the mobility of epithelial cells in healing processes (motogen) (By similarity) .

Store lyophilized protein at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4°C.
