DLST is a Full-length cDNA coding for the mature form of the human OGDC-E2 protein having a molecular mass of 42,301 Dalton (pH 6.3) .DLST protein is fused to a hexa-histidine purification tag. Applications: Western blot with anti-M2-Antigen autoantibody-positive patient sera or monoclonal anti-hexa-His-tag antibody.

Function
The 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex catalyzes the overall conversion of 2-oxoglutarate to succinyl-CoA and CO (2) . It contains multiple copies of 3 enzymatic components: 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase (E1), dihydrolipoamide succinyltransferase (E2) and lipoamide dehydrogenase (E3) .
