HJ Inhibitor Peptide 2

This peptide traps the protein-bound Holliday junctions (HJ) intermediate and preventing its resolution either to substrates or to products, thus inhibiting recombination. HJ intermediates arise in several central pathways of DNA repair, replication fork restart, and site-specific recombination catalysed by tyrosine recombinases.
