SMCY (950-960) (human)

One of the N-Y antigen epitopes has been identified as this 11 amino acid peptide derived from SMCY, an evolutionarily conserved protein encoded on the Y chromosome. T2-B7 cells incubated with this peptide were lysed by the H-Y specific CTL clone. Half maximal lysis was achieved at 10 pM.
