Anti-Galectin-7/LGALS7 Antibody Picoband®, APC Conjugate

Galectin-7 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the LGALS7 gene. The galectins are a family of beta-galactoside-binding proteins implicated in modulating cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. Differential and in situ hybridization studies indicate that this lectin is specifically expressed in keratinocytes and found mainly in stratified squamous epithelium. A duplicate copy of this gene (GeneID:653499) is found adjacent to, but on the opposite strand on chromosome 19.

E.coli-derived human LGALS7 recombinant protein (Position: M1-F136). Human Galectin-7/LGALS7 shares 78.7% and 72.8% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat LGALS7, respectively.

At -20℃ for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4℃ for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20℃ for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
