BIMAX2 is a high-affinity peptide inhibitor of importin α, competitively blocking classical NLS-dependent nuclear import. It is used in research to study nuclear transport mechanisms, including the role of RBBP4 in cellular senescence, in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
