Orthologous to human HAVCR1 (hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 1).

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of mouse Tim 2/Timd2, which shares 73.9% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with rat Timd2.

Could induce apoptosis in a BH3 domain-dependent manner. The interaction network of Bcl-2 family members may play a key role in modulation RTL10/BOP intrinsic apoptotic signaling activity.
