Product Specifications

Background

HECTD1 (E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase), which accepts ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then ly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates, may be required for development of the head mesenchyme and neural tube closure. It is also involved in sporadic Parkinson's disease(PMID:16714300).This protein is specific to HECTD1.

Synonyms

Kallistatin; Kallikrein inhibitor; Peptidase inhibitor 4; PI-4; Serpin A4; SERPINA4; KST; PI4

Gene Name

serpin family A member 4

Gene ID

Host

Rabbit

Reactivity

Human

Cross Reactivity

No cross-reactivity with other proteins.

Immunogen

E.coli-derived human HECTD1 recombinant protein (Position: D39-S566).

Clonality

Polyclonal

Tissue Specificity

Expressed by the liver and secreted in plasma.

Applications

WB,IHC,ELISA

Purification

Immunogen affinity purified.

Concentration

Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.

Form

Lyophilized

Reconstitution

Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.

Function

Inhibits human amidolytic and kininogenase activities of tissue kallikrein. Inhibition is achieved by formation of an equimolar, heat- and SDS-stable complex between the inhibitor and the enzyme, and generation of a small C-terminal fragment of the inhibitor due to cleavage at the reactive site by tissue kallikrein.

Components

Each vial contains 4 mg Trehalose, 0.9 mg NaCl, 0.2 mg Na2HPO4.
