Elf18 is a pathogen-associated molecular pattern (PAMP) derived from bacterial EF-Tu. In Arabidopsis, it is recognized by pattern recognition receptors to elicit innate immunity. This peptide is a key research tool for studying plant immune signaling pathways in both in vitro and in vivo experimental systems.
