Anti-GADD34/PPP1R15A Antibody Picoband®, Dylight594 Conjugate

Protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 15A also known as growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible protein GADD34 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PPP1R15A gene.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus of human GADD34/PPP1R15A, which shares 70.3% and 62.2% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat PPP1R15A, respectively.

Expressed at higher levels in the embryonic lung, liver and kidney than in the heart and brain. In adults, higher level expression is seen in the placenta, lung, kidney, and pancreas than in the heart, brain, liver and skeletal muscle.

Involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. Might function by either activating some proteins required for cell death or inactivating proteins necessary for cell survival.

At -20℃ for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4℃ for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20℃ for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
