Derived from Rabies Virus Glycoprotein, the RVG29 peptide selectively binds neuronal α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. This targeting property enables the delivery of Mycobacterium tuberculosis antigens to antigen-presenting cells, facilitating immunological research in vaccine development and neuro-targeted drug delivery studies both in vitro and in vivo.
