Hemitoxin
Hemitoxin is a scorpion venom-derived peptide that potently blocks potassium channels. It selectively inhibits rat Kv1.1, Kv1.2, and Kv1.3 channels with IC50 values of 13 nM, 16 nM, and 2 nM, respectively. This makes it a valuable research tool for studying channel function in neurobiology and immunology, both in vitro and in vivo.
