Ceratotoxin-2

Ceratotoxin-2 (CcoTx2) is a potent and selective peptide inhibitor of voltage-gated sodium channels, with IC50 values of 8 nM for Nav1.2/β1 and 88 nM for Nav1.3/β1. It is a valuable research tool for studying channel function and pharmacology in both in vitro electrophysiology and in vivo pain research models.
