Citrullinated LL-37 3cit is a modified peptide with attenuated antiviral and immunomodulatory functions. At 30 μg/mL it shows partial activity against Human Rhinovirus (HRV) and a reduced ability to suppress HRV-induced CCL5 secretion, making it a useful tool for studying post-translational modifications in host defense peptide research.
