Azurin p28 peptide

The Azurin p28 peptide is a cell-penetrating antitumor agent that stabilizes p53 by inhibiting its proteasomal degradation, leading to cell cycle arrest or apoptosis in p53-positive tumors. It also demonstrates antiangiogenic activity by suppressing VEGFR-2, FAK, and Akt phosphorylation, as shown in both in vitro and in vivo cancer research models.
