Taspoglutide acetate

Taspoglutide is a potent GLP-1 receptor agonist (Ki=1.1 nM) that stimulates cAMP production in vitro (EC50=0.06 nM) . In vivo studies in diabetic rat models demonstrate its ability to improve glucose tolerance, increase insulin, and reduce GIP, triglycerides, and body weight following weekly administration.
