Xenopsin precursor fragment

This antimicrobial peptide, derived from the xenopsin precursor, demonstrates broad-spectrum activity. It inhibits bacteria and fungi at 10-500 μg/mL and shows potent anti-protozoal effects with an MIC of 2-20 μg/mL. Its utility extends to in vitro studies of host defense mechanisms and novel therapeutic strategies against microbial pathogens.
