Jingzhaotoxin-IX

Jingzhaotoxin-IX is a 35-residue, C-terminally amidated peptide neurotoxin that potently inhibits tetrodotoxin-sensitive and -resistant voltage-gated sodium channels, as well as the Kv2.1 potassium channel. This dual activity makes it a valuable research tool for electrophysiological studies of neuronal excitability and channel pharmacology in both in vitro and in vivo models.
