Sodium bicarbonate, for cell culture, an inorganic salt, is neutral to slightly alkaline. And it is susceptible to moisture and decomposition in the air. Sodium bicarbonate is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and other fields, the main uses include buffer, seasoning, disinfectant, pharmaceutical and proton gradient regulator.
