McCoy’s 5A Medium

McCoy&rsquo;s 5A &nbsp;Medium, is a basal medium widely used for the growth of primary cultures derived from adrenal glands, normal bone marrow, gingiva, lung, mouse kidney, omentum, skin, spleen and other tissues. Supplementation is required, most commonly with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) for cell culture use, and requires a 5-10% CO₂ environment to maintain physiological pH.
