Iscove’s Modified Dulbecco’s Medium (IMDM)

IMDM, or Iscove&rsquo;s Modified Dulbecco&rsquo;s Medium, is basal medium widely used for growth of rapidly proliferating, high-density cell cultures, such as Jurkat, COS-7, and macrophage cells. Supplementation is required, most commonly with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) for cell culture use, and requires a 5-10% CO₂ environment to maintain physiological pH.
